Don't blame me, I voted UKIP!

I've always voted every General Election as well as a good many local ones. I vote because I think it's the height of foolishness not to, if you've got a chance in the say of how the country's run, however small, use it.

We elect politicians from whateverr faction we adhere to in the belief that they will, as the collective noun implies, govern, "to rule with authority". All get elected because we, rightly, believe they are better for the job in hand. One who is  better educated, better dressed and who enjoys the occupation, very important that last one!

"Fool me once, shame on you. Shame me twice, shame on me" Dear oh dear. They all make the same mistake acting first, thinking later. I'm not politcian materiel at all but I take an interest in current affairs. I think one should know what's happening to one's survival element, Earth, both lacally and globally and when all the song and dance was going on at the creation of the Euro it didn't need a rocket scientist to see that further down the road it would all go to Hell in a hand-basket; that it simply could not endure for very long.
and yet in they all marched, flags waving "now we'll give the Almighty Dollar a good seeing to". I mean, come on , be serious, and with the Asian economies beginning to get it together. too. To  quote one of my heroes, Bob Dylan, "It doesn't take a weather-man to tell which way the wind blows".      Nodody foresaw what  exactly were likely to be the long term effects of Internet trading, of the massive impact the whole of thre cyber thing would have on society in general.

A few more equally well thought out mistakes and things begin to go wrong, if we, in whatever our particular profession happens to be, made as many mistakes in work as the "Don't look for troubl;es, you'll find them" brigade, politicians we'd be down the road with our tools on our back as they say.

I haven't ever had a credit card, I viewed them right at the start as little ticking time-bombs. I've a debit card and that's it. I might not have a 40" HDTV or a BMW suv but then I don't owe for any of those things. Again ,look at the personalities of those engaged in high finance. That which draws them into the money trade and gives them a chance to manipulate currency well is the same thing as the one that puts on the"Greed is good", team. Amongst other things they have to learn is a course in, "How not to look beyond next Sunrise". The whole Global economy thing attracts the "Me first, last and always" genre like s..t does flies.

Now we know (or do know!) these things to be true, they are as predictable as rain at Whitsun when are we going to stand up and say "Enough is enough", we are no longer going to pay for YOUR mistakes, YOUR breathtaking lack of any ability to see past the end of your nose.

One day start watching some of those finance oriented TVnews channels like "Bloomsberg" & etc it doesn't matter that you don't understand fifteen sixteenths of it just check out the anchors and money Monarchs, the talking heads. After a while you will see that no single two people agree. OK, that's to show all the different sides of the situation. No, it's the sheer volume of them that worries me, there's bound to be at least one bad apple in every barrel and the trouble starts when the future blindness one in the most powerful position gets his sums wrong. The deleterious effects multiply exponentially and once the milk's in the tea you can't get it back out again!

It says it all when the country chosen for the headquarters, for the Eurocrats to pontificate in can't even put a Government for themselves! Each of the main ruling options, politics or money is peopled with too many with rosey hued schemes, sureshot solutions etc. and we are just beginning to see the cracks their failure to get it right is causing.

Wake up! As Sherlock Holmes was fond of saying to Watson, "You look Watson but you don't see!"

It's not my fault that all the countries are going broke and I doubt it's yours, either so why the H..l should we have to pay for those that should know but don't bollicking it up?
